As a dedicated educator with 25 years of experience, I've had the privilege of witnessing the magic of learning unfold in countless young minds. My passion for teaching reading, particularly through the lens of the science of reading, drives me to create engaging and effective lessons for my students. I've spent 23 years teaching kindergarten and now PreK, and I'm constantly amazed by the curiosity and resilience of my students. With a family full of educators, including my husband, a math teacher, I'm surrounded by like-minded individuals who share my commitment to shaping young minds. When I'm not in the classroom, I'm busy raising my own three children, who keep me on my toes. I'm honored to have the opportunity to work with your child and contribute to their educational journey. ​I've been driven by two things in life: a passion for education and a chasing of adventure. I have been working in education since high school. In 2019, Andrew moved to China. Three months later, COVID broke out, and I used the time to become fluent in Mandarin Chinese. I have taught all over the world. In my spare time, I enjoy flying planes and competing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. All of these interests have involved a lot of teaching and learning, and I'm excited to bring these passions to Ay'Miracle!
